Ducati 998 Lights

The Ducati 998 Lights are High Intensity Discharge lights that use H7 bulbs for both the low and high beams. The HID system of lighting creates a light that is brilliant white like that produced by sunshine. The technology is similar to that used to create stadium floodlights. As such, the light produced is concentrated such that a 35W bulb is able to give out twice as much illumination as a regular 60 W halogen one. They use xenon gas that is electrically charged to produce light in an arc. They also last up to 3 times longer than the halogen ones and are difficult to damage. You can therefore take your Ducati bike for a ride on a rough road and not have to worry about replacing the headlights. Xenon lighting is what you have been waiting for all this time.
