This model was first unveiled in the year 2004 as the first product of the joint venture between Kawasaki and Suzuki. The design and specifications for the bike had already been leaked out before its formal launch, thus negating the much needed impact necessary to make it a great success. It was supposed to be the bigger sister to the Marauder 800 but was rather a duplicate of Kawasaki’s 2004 Mean streak. This offered users a wider choice of spare parts since they could be interchanged for the two models. It however offered better suspension and breaking systems than the 800 and still went ahead to be a success on the market. The single headlight for this machine has a stylized visor and a stretched shell and is fitted with a pair of HID H4 xenon bulbs which offer 55watts and 60watts lighting power for low beam and high beam respectively.
