As its name suggests, this bike was specifically tailored for the American market. The Triumph Company surveyed the American market keenly in a bid to understand its motor cycle demands and high on the list was the popularity of the V-twin engine. It largely shares the same engine features with the Bonneville although it gives a more throaty exhaust sound that the American bikers are so in love with. It also has a low seat height that lends the bike plenty of maneuverability and stability in addition to a sizeable tank that allows for long cruises. The body framework for this bike is well liked by beginners owing to the confidence it inspires and also experienced bikers for its composure. Its round headlight utilizes one super white xenon H4 HID halogen light bulb with a bluish tint and a P43T base. This bulb gives 60/55 watt (low beam/high beam) and retails at US $ 8.50.
