It is hailed by many experienced riders as Triumph’s best English production bike ever. The company sticks to its tradition of building bikes from two different ages, combining classical and modern features. The Bonneville burst into the scene in 1959, a fact that underlines its long history. It immediately recorded huge success owing to its unrivalled performance on the road. This actually explains where it got its name from since the Bonneville Town was where motor cycle speed records were normally broken and that era was hugely dominated by the this model. It received huge competition from the Japanese models in the 1970s and although it tried to keep up, its production was recalled until the year 2001 when it was re-introduced owing to demand for classical models and it registered huge sales. Its round headlight also uses a super white xenon H4 HID halogen light bulb that gives 60/55 watts light sold for US $ 8.50.
